COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS

The Retirement Show is proud to announce that four famous Glasweigan chefs - Jacqueline O'Donnell from The Sisters restaurant, Andy Stewart from The Ubiquitous Chip, Steven Doherty from Braehead Foods and Tom Lewis from Monachyle Mhor will be at the show to demonstrate Scottish seasonal specialities.

Each chef will be demonstrating their skills and show visitors how to prepare dishes they might not have tried cooking before.

Peter Jones Make-over Zone

The Peter Jones Make-over Zone will be allowing visitors to have FREE make-over and skincare advice. Beauty Consultants from different cosmetic houses will beon-hand at the show to provide visitors with advice, suggestions and free make-overs. Visitors will be able to try different products and discover something new.

 

Health Zone

Take this opportunity to get your blood pressure checked by the nurses on hand in the Health Zone, or maybe try a massage or an aromatherapy treatment from on of our specialists.

 

Art Zone

Try your hand at something new by visiting the Art Zone and joining in with one of the sessions being held by the Society for All Artists. Visitors will be able to join in the hourly sessions that will have a Greetings focus.

The SAA - the Society for All Artists, is for everyone with a love of painting. They believe in encouraging everyone, from complete novices and hesitant beginners to the legions of leisure painters and beyond. If you’ve never painting before and fancy giving it a go then come and see them in the Art Zone and they’ll have you painting in no time!
