Watch our very own Retirement Show Real-Life models show off the best of the Summer Fashions from Kaleidoscope
Check out the latest designs for your elegant years. Fashion for the over 50's has you in mind. The collection for this year's show has been provided for The Retirement Show by Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope are a mail-order and on-line fashion, home, electrical and garden accessory provider.
The Retirement Show Fashion shows will be taking place - on both Friday and Saturday - giving you plenty of opportunity to check out the latest fashions and decide which one you want to be seen wearing this summer.
After each show Lesley Ebbetts, the fashion guru from TV's This Morning, will be interviewing our model competition winners about the clothes they are wearing and how it feels to be one of The Retirement Show's Real-Life models!

COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS
with top celebrity chef Alex Mackay
Learn how to cook, fast, simple and delicious meals in a few easy steps with chef Alex Mackay. He will
be demonstrating his french-inspired cuisine throughout both days of the show,
in The Retirement Show Kitchen.
The recipes for Alex's menu will be available here on The Retirement Show website soon!

New Zealand-born Alex is a cookery teacher, writer
and TV presenter. At the age of 19, he left New Zealand for a two-and-a-half
year stint in France, learning from Michelin-starred chefs. He then moved
to the UK to work at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons. Ten
years ago he returned to become director of the Oxfordshire restaurant's
cookery school. In 1999 he opened his own school, Le Baou d’Infer,
in Provence. Alex runs cookery workshops at Norwich City Football club
with Delia Smith and writes a monthly cookery school series in Sainsbury’s
Magazine. He was voted the Guild of Food Writers Cookery Journalist of
the Year in 2006 and is currently working on his second cookery book.
Alex has appeared regularly on TV programmes including UKTV's Great Food
Live and has appeared as a guest chef on Ready Steady Cook. |
MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

The Manchester Community Choir will be entertaining visitors to The Retirement Show on Friday. The choir has sung everywhere from the streets of Manchester to the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, and now The Retirement Show!
Crystal Chords, an a capella harmony chorus are an award winning group of women who enjoy singing a range of classic songs in the barber-shop style. Crystal Chords will be appearing on Saturday. The Rainy City Chorus will also be performing on Friday and will be singing together with Crystal Chords on Saturday.
